As a BLS instructor, you are at the top of the umbrella to teach the BLS and all of the Heartsaver course options of First Aid, CPR, AED, and bloodborne pathogens courses. If you become an AHA Heartsaver instructor, you can teach a combination of First Aid, CPR, AED, and bloodborne pathogens courses.

First of all, you will need a current certification in the discipline you plan to teach, such as AHA Heartsaver or AHA BLS Provider. Next, you'll need to complete the online instructor essentials course, which can be done at your own pace and must be completed before the instructor course.
Choose your own schedule, as a 1099 instructor you can work with us or on your own. Create a great way to earn extra income for yourself while helping your community.
Instructors are responsible for facilitating video presentations, instructor lectures, skills demonstrations, testing students, answering questions, and completing post-course rosters/paperwork. Position may require traveling.
